SUMMER PARTY 2023
Hooray, it’s summer time, which means that we, at Monolith, are celebrating our annual Summer Party.
This year we had delightful and memorable days celebrating and enjoying the long-awaited party and sunny season.
Our Summer Adventure started with a visit to one of the most famous castles in the country – Warwick Castle. It was originally built by William the Conqueror in 1068 and has since been owned by various noble families. The castle has witnessed numerous battles, sieges, and renovations throughout its history. We also visited the Castle towers, battlements, and interior rooms and got a sense of medieval life.
Later, afternoon we headed to explore the incredible and spectacular routes of Peak District National Park – a place of wild peaks and rugged moorland with views that stretch forever. Along with fresh forest air and countryside hidden gems, we added to our walking adventure a sense of achievement. We were divided into 4 groups and participated in the challenging quiz. Each group had to find a certain object or place in the forest and share a photo with our guide. In exchange for the correct photo, we received one letter and at the end, we had to guess the correct word. Further, we arrived at our camp field and under sunset constructed our tent. The party lasted all night and many of us managed to meet sunshine.
The second day started with kung-fu gymnastics and a hot burger breakfast and after we departed to explore the beauty of Cromford’s magnificent caves and Black Rocks climbing.
End of the day we all felt happy and satisfied for the time spent together. This summer party and adventures created an enjoyable experience that brings our team members closer together and strengthened our professional relationships.
We want to thank everyone involved and everyone who made the two summer days remarkable.
See you next year.
