On 16th June 2022 we were participated in the one of the biggest and one of the best retail events – Spar Retail Show 2022. The Blakemore Trade Partners (BTP) tradeshow and conference took place at Telford International Centre and attracted over 1,000 suppliers and retailers from across SPAR UK’s.
The event addressed the exciting opportunities ahead for independent retailers and how SPAR and Blakemore Trade Partners are uniquely positioned to help them take advantage.
‘New World, New Opportunities’ was the key theme this year and was demonstrated through:
– the AFB retailer partnership.
– the strength of the SPAR network: locally, nationally and internationally
– Spar supplier relationships
– Spar role in the community
– new Channels, new trends, new stores and new legislations
– new Spar brand positioning
For us it was a great place and opportunity to meet our active clients and to present new and potential clients our best service, best product range and best connections that tie us together. We also heard a lot of cases and successful strategies from our clients partners. Retailers were sharing their stories of best practice and experience in growing store sales, how they retain new customers and maximise customer spend during lockdown. Since we were all together last time so much has changed but with this change has come new opportunities, new channels, new partnerships, new customers.
We are sure that all retailers, who attended our stand, left feeling inspired, excited, and reassured that they are working with the best partner for their business.
